Johnny White's Pub & Grill
Johnny White's Pub & Grill 718 Bourbon Street
New Orleans, LA 70116
(504) 581-9200
After retiring from teaching in the public school system, Johnny White opened his first establishment on St. Peters Street in 1969. In those days, the neighbor welcomed new business because that end of Bourbon was not the hot spot of the Quarter that it is today. This young man, educated at Auburn and Duke was a great addition to the neighborhood. In the mid 1980's he opened Hole in the Wall on at 718 Bourbon Street. After his passing in 1992, the family took up his legacy and continued to operate his establishments with the addition of the restaurant in 2001.

R-Bar
R Bar 1431 Royal Street
New Orleans, LA 70116
(504) 948-7499
Located on a hopping corner in the Faubourg Marigny neighborhood of New Orleans and staffed by a bunch of charming folks who love nice beds and good drinks equally, the Royal Street Inn’s goal is to give visitors to the Crescent City a taste of the lush life (and when we say “lush” we mean it in all definitions of the word). Someone once cleverly dubbed the joint a “bed and beverage,” a turn-of-phrase that perfectly sums up what we’re all about – first class hotel rooms above, badass bar below. And no breakfast.

The Circle Bar
The Circle Bar 1032 St. Charles Avenue
New Orleans, LA 70130
(504) 588-2616
Since it opened in 1999, Circle Bar has built upon the popularity of the site's former establishment, the fringe favorite, Fleur de Lee. It has become a necessary stop on most nightcrawlers' itineraries, thanks to a loose, friendly vibe with a roster of eclectic acts with a nod toward rock and roll. Space is at a premium here, whether you're edging your way past the bar to the restrooms or angling for a seat in the band room. The intimacy helps to elevate the "house-party" feel. The crowd includes locals, many musicians (some of whom you may find working the bar), traditional barflies and particularly adventurous tourists.
