That’s impressive, as it’s sometimes tough to find outside of a backyard boil. The Galley is set in a big, old house and there’s a patio for dining outside when the weather is nice.

It’s tucked away in Old Metairie under the Causeway overpass, but seeing how Gennaro’s has been there forever, it was probably around first. The place to be for the Metairie St. Patrick’s Day parade, they offer po’boys and fried seafood platters and have a pretty hoppin’ bar next door with karaoke five nights a week.
