Maple Leaf

8316 Oak Street
New Orleans, La. 70118
(504) 866-9359

The Maple Leaf is one of the city’s premiere music venues for local bands. It’s located in the Carrollton section of Uptown and it’s an easy streetcar ride from Downtown.

Description

The Maple Leaf has been an important live music venue in New Orleans for over 30 years. There are resident musicians that play every week, as well as nationally touring bands on the weekends.

Blues, funk, jazz, R&B, rock, zydeco, and jam bands are the types of music that are featured at the Maple Leaf. If you’re a music fan and you find yourself uptown, stop in Monday night to see Papa Grows Funk or Tuesday night to enjoy one of the most well known New Orleans brass band, Rebirth.

The Maple Leaf is an essential stop for music lovers of all ages, but don’t try to pull a fast one on the bouncers and bartenders- they have a strict 21 to enter policy.
