Banks Street offers free live music seven days a week and it lives up to its nickname as the “Mid City Lighthouse for Live Music.” Bands like local funk outfit Gravity A play a set day every week, so you’re guaranteed to see some great New Orleans live music.
The drink prices are fair and the bartenders are friendly, but watch out for the locals who hang out at the bar and defend their local watering hole. The bar is dog friendly, so you don’t have to leave your pooch at home.
