Tip’s has been serving the New Orleans music scene for many years and it stays true to its purpose of bringing live music to everyone in the city.

Blues fans will instantly recognize the name as one of Professor Longhair’s greatest songs, Tipitina. He was one of the most influential musical figures in New Orleans and Tiptina’s is dedicated to preserving his memory and continuing the tradition of great local music. Once you walk in, you will notice a bust of Professor Longhair, two full bars and a balcony. The venue is set up for music of all types and it has been doing so since its opening on January 14, 1977.
