Description

The Maison, which is French for “house,” is exactly that—a house for live music. The Maison opened under its current ownership in the Fall of 2009 after it was completely renovated. It also serves as a restaurant, so you can eat while drinking and dancing.

There are three levels with different stages/music areas, so everyone can enjoy any type of live music. There are also three different bars, so you don’t have to run up and down the stairs to get a drink. Almost every night, The Maison features all types of music, but especially electronica. Louisiana Dubstep, Bassik, and other electronica collectives use The Maison as a space to explore different types of music. Electronica fans have come to love The Maison because of its warm feel (some people describe it as someone’s house, which explains the name).
