The Beach on Bourbon got a lot of coverage this summer when it was featured on The Real World: New Orleans because it was one of the few bars that allowed filming. The Real World cast often went to the Beach to drink reasonably priced drinks, ride the one of a kind mechanical whale and enjoy a beach-like bar.

There's a cover band that plays nightly to ensure everyone is on their feet while they're at The Beach. There are many bars to choose from on Bourbon Street, but if you’re looking for something different, The Beach is the best choice. Where else can you ride a mechanical whale?
